THANK YOU.

[*A portion of this video is without audio*]

[Items 1 - 5]

[00:16:55]

AND WE'RE BACK.

[00:16:57]

THANK YOU, MS. BASSI-KELLETT. WOULD YOU LIKE COUNCILLOR MORGAN TO REPEAT THE QUESTION? ALL RIGHT, PERFECT.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH. MADAM CHAIR, I THINK I'VE GOT IT.

AND I KNOW THAT COUNCILLOR MORGAN WILL ASK ME ANY FOLLOW UP IF I DON'T ANSWER EVERYTHING THAT SHE WAS WONDERING ABOUT.

SO THE RECONCILIATION ACTION PLAN FROM 2021 WAS THE BASIS UPON WHICH WE WE USE TO FRAME A LOT OF OUR ACTIONS AROUND RECONCILIATION.

IN PARTICULARLY WE HAVE ENGAGEMENT WITH YKDFN.

MAYOR ALTY HAD WRITTEN TO THE CHIEFS TO LAY OUT THAT HERE'S OUR PROPOSED ACTIONS AND WE LOOK FORWARD TO CONTINUING TO WORK WITH THEM.

IN 2022 IN JANUARY, AS WE WERE STARTING THE PROCESS TO DEVELOP OUR 2022 ACTION PLAN, WE HAVE BEEN IN BACK AND FORTH DISCUSSIONS WITH YKDFN.

THEY'RE EXTREMELY BUSY AT THIS POINT IN TIME.

THEY'RE QUITE BUSY AND THEY'RE GOING THROUGH SOME STAFF CHANGES.

AND SO WE HAVE SAID THAT WE WILL CONTINUE TO ENGAGE AS AND WHEN THEY ARE AVAILABLE TO ENGAGE WITH US, BECAUSE OF COURSE THE ACTION PLAN IS THE ITERATIVE PART THAT WE CAN MAKE CHANGES, ADDITIONS AT ANY TIME.

WE'RE ABLE TO MAKE SURE THAT WE CAN PLAN FOR THINGS TO BE PUT IN PLACE WHEN IT MAKES SENSE, IF IT'S NOW, IF IT'S IN THE FUTURE.

BUT WE REALLY LOOK FORWARD TO THAT BACK AND FORTH ENGAGEMENT.

THANK YOU. OKAY.

THANKS FOR THAT. THAT MAKES A LOT OF SENSE.

AND I'M GLAD THAT THIS IS SOMETHING THAT WE REVIEW EACH YEAR.

I KNOW SOME OF OUR ACTION PLANS ARE SORT OF LONGER TERM AND WE HAVE TROUBLE REVISITING THEM AS REGULARLY.

BUT I THINK THIS ONE DEFINITELY IT'S IMPORTANT TO KEEP REVISITING IT AND REVAMPING THE COMING YEARS ACTIONS AND SEEING WHERE WE'RE AT EACH YEAR.

SO I'M ENCOURAGED TO SEE THIS COME FORWARD AND TO SEE THESE ACTIONS CONTINUE AND HOPEFULLY CATCH UP A BIT IN 2022 AS WE GET BACK TO MORE IN-PERSON ACTIVITIES AND THE PROGRAMING IN THE LIBRARY IN PARTICULAR, I'M REALLY EXCITED TO SEE AND MORE OF THAT I THINK CAN TAKE PLACE IN THE COMING YEAR.

SO HOPEFULLY PEOPLE IN THE COMMUNITY WILL GO OUT AND CHECK IT OUT.

THANK YOU. ANY OTHER QUESTIONS OR COMMENTS FROM THE FLOOR? SEEING NONE. I'D JUST LIKE TO ADD THAT I TOO AM VERY HAPPY TO SEE THIS COMING FORWARD.

IT'S NICE TO SEE WHERE WE HAVE BEEN AND WHERE WE ARE GOING TO BE GOING, AS WELL AS HAVING THE ENGAGEMENT WITH THE COMMUNITY, BECAUSE IT'S VERY IMPORTANT TO MAKE SURE THAT VOICES ARE BEING HEARD ON ALL FRONTS.

[IN CAMERA]

AND MOVING FORWARD TO IN-CAMERA.

CAN I GET A MOTION? THANK YOU. COUNCILOR PAYNE.

DO I HAVE A SECONDER. THANK YOU, COUNCILLOR SILVERIO.

ALL IN FAVOR AND WE'LL GO INTO IN-CAMERA.

ALL RIGHT. IN BUSINESS ARISING FROM IN-CAMERA SESSION.

SORRY. THANK YOU.

[00:20:04]

AND WE WILL BE APPOINTING TWO SORRY COUNCIL MEMBERS, TWO MEMBERS TO THE COMMUNITY ADVISORY BOARD ON HOMELESSNESS.

WE WILL BE APPOINTING D [INAUDIBLE] MCKEE AND H [INAUDIBLE] DUMBUYA-SESAY TO SERVE ON THE COMMUNITY ADVISORY BOARD ON HOMELESSNESS.

AND THAT BRINGS US TO THE END.

DO I HAVE A MOTION TO CLOSE? COUNCILLOR WILLIAM SECONDED BY COUNCILLOR MORGAN.

ALL IN FAVOR. AND THAT MOTION CARRIES.

ALL RIGHT. PERFECT. WE'LL SEE EVERYBODY NEXT TIME.
