Councillor Smith moves, Councillor ____________ seconds, That Council direct Administration to provide the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) with the following priorities for consideration when determining Yellowknife Detachment’s Policing Priorities for 2019: Priority 1. Police Visibility – conduct visibility patrols in Yellowknife Downtown and other areas where visibility is required; Priority 2. Substance Abuse / Drugs and Alcohol - proactively enforce; educate and build relationships; Priority 3. Reduce Frequent Users of Emergency Services – collaborate with partners on public health / harm reduction initiatives.

By-law No. 4995 - A by-law to amend Parts 4, 7, 8, 10 and 12 of Schedule B of the Fees and Charges Bylaw to reflect the changes approved in the 2018 Budget and to make adjustments to more accurately and fairly reflect the costs associated with providing the services, is presented for First, and Second Reading. 21.
