A memorandum regarding whether to provide additional funding to the NWT Disabilities Council (NWTDC) in the amount of $9,000 for 2016 to offset costs associated with their Experience Summer program. 4. Councillor Konge moves, Councillor ____________ seconds, That the NWT Disabilities Council be granted an additional $9,000 in 2016 to assist in offsetting staffing costs associated with their Experience Summer program and that Council’s travel budget be reduced by $9,000. That Administration be directed to enter into a Service Agreement with the NWT Disabilities Council (NWTDC) in the amount of $9,000 for the provision of properly trained staff to supervise at a 1:1 child: supervisor ratio for children enrolled in the City of Yellowknife Summer Playground Program who requires such supervision. That Council direct Administration to reconvene the Grant Review Committee with direction to review the allocations and increase the NWTDC to the maximum allowed under the eligibility criteria.
